Fitzroy
House Leader: Mrs Miller
I am proud to be Head of Fitzroy House. I am passionate about supporting students to challenge themselves and be the very best they can be. I am committed to helping students grow in confidence, resilience and ambition, both individually and as part of a team. I am especially proud of the unity, support and strong sense of belonging within the House, and I value the teamwork and House spirit shown by our students. We celebrate effort, determination and the courage to step outside of comfort zones.
Vice-Admiral Robert FitzRoy was the commander of HMS Beagle during Charles Darwin’s famous voyage. He mapped the coastline of South America and made important contributions to early weather science. FitzRoy was known for his leadership, care for his crew and passion for discovery. His sense of adventure and curiosity inspires our students to explore new opportunities, challenge themselves and discover their potential both in and out of the classroom.
